Artist Notes:
Marilyn enjoys creating in the medium of fabric. She has supported many causes through her years of making quilts, including Quilts for Kids, Project Linus and Quilts of Valor. She made her first quilt for a friend when her children were toddlers, and all by hand. Today she usually chooses to create quilts with ‘scraps’, which shows value in leftovers. Marilyn is very happy to support her long-time friend’s vision of grief-counseling through Standing Tall.
